Older Americans Act (OAA) Title VI, part A & C and Nutrition Service Incentive Program.

NVE’s Elders program is funded through the Federal Government. Our grant is an Older American Act Title VI program that serves American Indians and Alaska Natives starting at the age of 60. NVE recognizes   tribal members at the age of 55 as an Elder.

The program offers nutritional meals and supportive service for a limited amount of time to help Elders work toward a self sufficient life style.

 

The goal of these programs is to increase home and community based services to older Alaska Natives and American Indians through the follow:
