    The ICC Gift Shop Coordinator is a full-time, regular position.

    The Ilanka Cultural Center Gift Shop Coordinator maintains and markets the gift shop, webstore, cache & tribal library.

    Experience Requirement
    1-year customer service experience preferred.  Experience with WordPress or similar website platform preferred.

    Education Requirement
    Bachelor’s degree in business preferred.  High School Diploma or equivalent required.

    Tribal Family Services Manager

    The Native Village of Eyak is accepting applications for a Tribal Family Services Manager.

    The Tribal Family Services Manager is a full-time, regular position.

    This position is responsible for managing all programs within the Social Services Department.  This position, plans, implements and manages the social services programs and activities.

    Experience Requirement
    Three years’ experience in supervising staff and facilitating a small human service department or relevant field work. Must have experience with budget management. Grant writing experience preferred. Volunteer management experience preferred. Experience with public outreach and education preferred.

    Education Requirement
    Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field preferred.

    IT Coordinator I

    The Native Village of Eyak is accepting applications for a IT Coordinator I.

    The IT Coordinator is a part-time, regular position.

    This position is responsible for maintaining and improving Native Village of Eyak’s Information Technology systems.

    Experience and Education Requirement
    Three years progressive information technology experience.  Three years’ experience with SaaS systems. Three years Desktop and Server experience, including Windows Servers, Desktops, Mac OS and Macintosh computers. 3 years SQL Server, Terminal Services/RDP, and Hardware Virtualization. Three years networking infrastructure support, installation and support.
    B.A. or B.S. in computer technology or related field. Experience in related field in lieu of education will be considered.

  • DENR Fisheries Technician III

    DENR Fisheries Technician III

    The Native Village of Eyak is accepting applications for a DENR Fisheries Technician III.

    The DENR Tech III is a full-time, permanent seasonal position.

    This is a senior technician position within the Native Village of Eyak’s Department of the Environment and Natural Resources working in established programs both in the field and office. This position supports Biologists in successfully conducting research in fisheries and wildlife, and may also be utilized in environmental programs. Supervision of subordinate technicians will be required, as will regular travel, and frequent fieldwork in remote areas.

    Education Requirement
    Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university with a major in biology, fisheries biology or related field; Relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.

    Experience Requirement
    Minimum of three years experience working in the biological sciences with at least one year experience as DENR Technician II with NVE. Minimum 3 months experience working at remote research sites.

  • DENR Fisheries Technician II

    DENR Fisheries Technician II

    The Native Village of Eyak is accepting applications for a DENR Fisheries Technician II.

    The DENR Tech II is a full-time, seasonal position.

    This is a mid-level technician position within the Native Village of Eyak’s Department of the Environment and Natural Resources. The position will support project managers in successfully continuing the long-term Copper River Chinook salmon monitoring program. Responsibilities include; fish ID; PIT and radio-tagging; collection of biometrics, scales, genetic samples; operation of research fishwheels and use of multibeam fish imaging sonar. The majority of work occurs at two well-established remote field sites. Travel, fieldwork, boat operation, and remote living for an extended period of time is required

    Education Requirement
    BS or BA in a scientific field, OR college student with a declared major in a science related field and minimum 2 year completed coursework, OR 2+ year work experience in fisheries or similar field. Relevant experience may be taken in lieu of education.

    Experience Requirement
    Minimum two years of experience working in the biological sciences. Three months’ experience with remote field research, sampling and data collection. Must have boat operation experience.

  • Medical Diagnostic Sonographer

    The Native Village of Eyak’s Ilanka Community Health Center is accepting applications for a Medical Diagnostic Sonographer.

    The position is part time with flexible hours.

    Duties include performing ultrasounds, evaluating image quality and maintaining patient records.

    Applicants are required to hold a minimum of an associate’s degree in medical diagnostic sonography and be registered with ARDMS.
