    Marina Laborer

    The Native Village of Eyak is accepting applications for a Marina Laborer.

    The Marina Laborer is a seasonal, part-time (30hrs/week)position.

    This position works with Marina Manager to complete seasonal laborer work. This position uses physical labor, chainsaws and power tools to complete projects.

    Experience:
    Must be minimum 18 years of age. Will be subject to drug and alcohol screening as per NVE policies. 

    Education Requirement:
    High school diploma or equivalent or enrolled in secondary school.

    Tender Crew

    The Native Village of Eyak is accepting applications for a Tender Crew.

    The Tender Crew is a seasonal, full-time position.

    This position assists with Marine Enterprises as crew and performs skilled boat maintenance work.

    Experience working on and around boats, basic mechanic boats. Experience in boat operation.

  • Ilanka Community Health Center Care Coordinator

    Ilanka Community Health Center Care Coordinator

    The Native Village of Eyak is accepting applications for an ICHC Care Coordinator.

    The ICHC Care Coordinator is a regular, part-time (36hrs/week)position with full benefits package.

    The Ilanka Community Health Center Care Coordinator works collaboratively with the Case Manager, physicians, staff and other health care professionals to ensure that appropriate care is provided to all patients.  The Care Coordinator ensures the patient is guided through their referral and outreach experience in a proactive and helpful manner.   Ilanka Community Health Center promotes a team-based approach to care.

    Experience:
    Minimum two-year office experience, preferably in a clinical/patient setting. Experience with Electronic Medical Records preferred.

  • Tribal Family Services Advocacy Coordinator

    Tribal Family Services Advocacy Coordinator

    The Native Village of Eyak is accepting applications for a TFS Advocacy Coordinator.

    The TFS Advocacy Coordinator is a regular, full-time position.

    This position is responsible for the Native Village of Eyak’s domestic violence and sexual assault programs.

    Experience:
    Two years experience working with victims of violence and two years experience in coordination multi-disciplinary teams preferred.

    Education Requirement:
    High school diploma or equivalent, training in crisis intervention, domestic violence and sexual assault preferred. Successful applicant must complete domestic violence and sexual assault training through the Alaska Network of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault and the Alaska Council on Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault within one year of hire.

    Ilanka Community Health Center Advance Practice Medical Provider

    The Native Village of Eyak is accepting applications for a ICHC Advance Practice Medical Provider

    The ICHC Advance Practice Medical Provider is a full-time, regular position.

    Ilanka Community Health Center (ICHC) is a program of the Native Village of Eyak (NVE).  ICHC is a primary care clinic that cares for all patients, regardless of ability to pay.  APP practitioners provide primary medical care to all ICHC patients and clients per individual scope. This position makes referrals to other healthcare providers when more comprehensive or specialized care is needed. Ilanka Community Health Center promotes a team based approach to care.

    Experience Requirement
    Minimum of one year of primary care clinical experience. Minimum of one-year emergency/acute care clinical experience. Experience with healthcare information systems, such as electronic health record and practice management preferred.

    Education Requirement
    Successfully completed all courses and tests required to become a licensed PA-C and/or Nurse Practitioner, must have current Alaska License.

  • DENR Fisheries Technician II

    DENR Fisheries Technician II

    The Native Village of Eyak is accepting applications for a DENR Fisheries Technician II.

    The DENR Tech II is a full-time, seasonal position.

    This is a mid-level technician position within the Native Village of Eyak’s Department of the Environment and Natural Resources. The position will support project managers in successfully continuing the long-term Copper River Chinook salmon monitoring program. Responsibilities include; fish ID; PIT and radio-tagging; collection of biometrics, scales, genetic samples; operation of research fishwheels and use of multibeam fish imaging sonar. The majority of work occurs at two well-established remote field sites. Travel, fieldwork, boat operation, and remote living for an extended period of time is required

    Education Requirement
    BS or BA in a scientific field, OR college student with a declared major in a science related field and minimum 2 year completed coursework, OR 2+ year work experience in fisheries or similar field. Relevant experience may be taken in lieu of education.

    Experience Requirement
    Minimum two years of experience working in the biological sciences. Three months’ experience with remote field research, sampling and data collection. Must have boat operation experience.

  • Medical Diagnostic Sonographer

    The Native Village of Eyak’s Ilanka Community Health Center is accepting applications for a Medical Diagnostic Sonographer.

    The position is part time with flexible hours.

    Duties include performing ultrasounds, evaluating image quality and maintaining patient records.

    Applicants are required to hold a minimum of an associate’s degree in medical diagnostic sonography and be registered with ARDMS.
